PICK YOUR OWN
U-pick apples,
row by row.
No appointment, no ticket, no corn maze. Grab a bag at the store, walk out into the trees, and pick what looks good. We weigh it on the way back.
How it works.
- Stop at the farm store first. We’ll tell you which rows are picking well that day and hand you a bag.
- Pick what you like. Lift and twist — don’t pull, or you’ll take next year’s bud with it. Anything on the ground stays on the ground.
- Bring it back to be weighed. Pay at the store. Cash, check and cards all work.
What to bring
- Closed shoes. The rows are grass and they’re often damp in the morning.
- Layers — it’s usually cooler out in the trees than in the parking area.
- A box or a tote for the drive home, so the bag doesn’t tip on the back seat.
- Kids, absolutely. This is a good place to turn them loose.
Pricing
U-pick apples are priced by the pound, and the rate depends on the variety. Call (605) 520-2932 for this season’s pricing, or just ask when you arrive — we weigh what you pick at the store.
Hours, ripeness and what’s in the store all change with the season and the weather. The update at the top of the homepage is the current one — and a quick call to (605) 520-2932 before a long drive is never a bad idea.

U-pick hours can differ from store hours.
